Since the launch of SUREVUE® in 1991, Johnson &
Johnson Vision Care, a Division of Johnson & Johnson
Inc., has introduced several advancements in spherical contact
lens technology. In light of the superior performance of
our more recent products and in order to help you maximize
the inventory efficiency of your practice, we are announcing
the discontinuation of SUREVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.
After June 30th, 2005, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care
will no longer supply SUREVUE®.
Our most recent product innovation is ACUVUE® ADVANCE™
with HYDRACLEAR™, which provides exceptional vision,
handling and end-of-day comfort. In fact, we are so certain
your SUREVUE® patients will love ACUVUE® ADVANCE™
with HYDRACLEAR™, we guarantee it! If, for any reason,
your patients are not 100% satisfied with ACUVUE® ADVANCE™
Brand Contact Lenses, they can return them within 90 days
and get their money back. Furthermore, as your patients
transition to ACUVUE® ADVANCE™ with HYDRACLEAR™,
they can take advantage of our $50 rebate when they purchase
a year’s supply of lenses. The $50 rebate is not currently
offered to SUREVUE® patients. For more information on
these offers, please contact our Customer Service Department
or your Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Territory Manager.
Attached to this notification is a letter that may be helpful
in communicating the SUREVUE® discontinuation to your
patients. Please feel free to make copies of and distribute
this letter to any of your SUREVUE® patients. Also included
for your convenience is a letter detailing all ACUVUE®
Brand rebate offers for 2005 and an initial supply of rebates.
